4.1 Safety
CAUTION
This electric underblanket is fitted with the INVENTUM SAFETY SYSTEM (ISS). This electronic sensor technology prevents
the entire surface of the electric underblanket from overheating by automatically switching off in the event of a fault. If the
safety system switches off the electric underblanket automatically as a result of a fault, the setting is no longer illuminated
even when the electric underblanket is switched on.
Please note that, after a fault has occurred, the electric underblanket can no longer be used for safety reasons and must be
sent to the service address indicated.

4.2 Initial use

Spread the electric underblanket flat onto your mattress starting at the foot end so that the cable entrance is located approximately
at shoulder height. The electric blanket can be used on both sides. Then put on your bedsheet in the usual manner so that the
electric underblanket is between your mattress and the bedsheet.
CAUTION
Make sure that the underblanket is spread out entirely flat and that it will not rumple up or crease when in use. Check its
position when making the bed.
• To operate the electric underblanket connect the controller to the underblanket by plugging in the connector.
• Then plug in the supply plug into the mains outlet.
