The
LUX-top
SDA
anchoring device must be inspected in detail for correct function by
people trained for work in rope protection. This primarily comprises of a visual inspection
®
of the
LUX-top
SDA
and, if it should prove necessary (for example severely weathered
old roof constructions) also the inspection of the installation subconstruction or its
attachment to the bearing parts of the roof construction.
This inspection is essential, as the safety of the user depends on the effectiveness and
durability of the anchor device.
Due to the instruction of people for work in rope protection and the specialist activities of
the system user, sufficient expertise for this inspection is assumed.
An inspection log card is included in the appendix to these user instructions, on
which the inspection by the competent person can be documented.
The anchoring device must be replaced after a fall!

The
anchor device is weather-resistant. Depending on the use
conditions, the anchor device including the fixing elements must occasionally be cleaned
with hot water.
Avoid contact between the stainless steel anchor device and "black" steel, acids, bitumen,
cement, chloride, paint or aggressive cleaning liquids.
Never use aggressive cleaning products or chemicals!
Miscellaneous:
Changes or additions to the anchor device may only be made with the prior written
consent of the manufacturer. Equally, all repairs may only be carried out in agreement
with the manufacturer. If sold on to a country with a different language, to ensure the
safety of the user the instructions for use, maintenance, the regular checks and repairs
must be available in the respective language.
