- Wait until the engine is completely cold.
- Remove the air filter cover.
- Take the spark plug cap off the spark
plug and unscrew the spark plug using a spark
plug wrench.
- If the electrode has suered excessive wear or
it is heavily encrusted, the spark plug must be
replaced with an equivalent one. Heavy encrustation on
the spark plug may be caused by too high an oil content
in the fuel mixture, poor oil quality, the petrol mixture
being too old or the air filter being blocked.
- Screw the spark plug fully into the thread by
hand (do not cross the thread).
- Now tighten the spark plug using a spark plug
wrench.
- If you use a torque wrench, the tightening
torque is 12-15 Nm.
- Now attach the spark plug cap correctly to the
spark plug.
Fit the air filter cover again.

Chain lubrication

the fuel can be checked through the sight glass on the

Important: please fill up the oil tank before refueling the

Residual risks

Even when properly used in the tool is always some
residual risk that can not be excluded. From the nature
and design of the tool, the following potential hazards
can be derived :
- Contact with the unprotected chain ( cuts);
- Reaching into the running saw chain (cut injury);
- Unexpected , sudden movement of the guide rail ( cuts);
