Assembly instructions
The assembly of the comfort handle is carried out as shown in fig. 4, fig. 5 or fig. 6.
Note:
Plug the connector with the long cables into the bottom of the jack. Plug the connec-
tor with the short cables into the top of the jack (see fig. 7).

Installation
Note:
Below, we describe how to connect the comfort handle to a base system including
Access Control. Information about connecting to an external controller via the PLC
interface can be found in the main operating instructions on www.rittal.com (see sec-
tion 1.1).
◾ First disconnect the CAN bus at the Access Control.
◾ Attach the appropriate handle to the door to be monitored (see section 4.1 "Assembly instruc-
tions").
◾ Connect this handle with the connection cable to the Access Control.
◾ Connect the reader unit with the connection cable to the Access Control.
◾ Reconnect the CAN bus to the Access Control.
