In addition to two packets of descaling powder, the kit also includes a
water hardness tester to help you determine the proper schedule for des-
caling your machine in normal use. The amount of scale that develops
depends on the hardness of the water used, but also the level of use.
The schedule indicated by the water hardness tester is a general guide-
line only. Keep in mind that you may have to descale more frequently than
indicated.
