GENERAL RECOMMENDATION
CHEMINAIR is a simple system.
It does however operate at high air temperatures
(up to 180°C in the flue, at the intake point).
Please observe the following general recommendations:
 Do not obstruct the decompression grilles in the fire hood.
 Do not cover the motor.
 Use metal accessories only.
 Use only heat-resistant adhesive aluminium tape (see temperature
indications on pack).
 Do not switch off the unit or excessively reduce its throughput when the
fireplace is burning strongly.
 Always open the fireplace door slowly to avoid backdraughts of smoke
 Regularly check that the turbine is clean.
 Clean the filter and vents regularly.
CONSUMER ADVICE
Failure to observe the rules of good practice in the installation of heat-circulating fireplaces and hot
air recovery systems poses a serious intoxication risk due to:
- reflux of polluted air from one room to another  passive smoking
- disturbances to the ventilation system  poor quality of ambient air
- poor evacuation of combustion gases  build-up of carbon monoxide
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall
not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
