Emptying
The container underneath the cyclone should be emptied when about 2/3 full.
Be careful when releasing the fasteners – they can open with great force – especially when the material is heavy. Be aware that
emptying the container may pose a risk of explosion, i.e. that an explosive atmosphere may occur and that static charge may be
generated by the friction of the particles against the container. For appropriate measures, see IEC/TS 60079-32-1.
When the container is to be emptied, the two fasteners must be carefully released, one at a time, to prevent dust from swirling up
unnecessarily. When the machine's container has been lowered, turn on the separator again so that any stuck particles are
sucked into the filter cyclone.
Carefully remove the filled sack from the edge of the container and immediately seal it tightly.
Fit a new plastic sack and place the opening carefully back over the edge of the container. Make sure that no creases are formed
and that the sack is not damaged. Then carefully install the tray under the separator and fasten the two hooks, turn off the
machine and once more secure the tray on the machine, make sure that the fastening hooks are located properly and check for
leakage.
CAUTION
The strap of the fasteners must have good contact with the plate on the upper part. The black arrow markings
must be aligned so that they point at each other.
Service/Maintenance
Cleaning
The machine must be switched off and unplugged before cleaning and maintenance.
Filter replacement
The fine filter must be replaced at least once a year. Only original filters may be used. HEPA filters must be replaced after
300 hours.
WARNING
Filter replacement may only be performed by trained personnel. Use a protective mask and suitable
equipment.
Release and lift off the upper part for free access to the filter. Lift the filter straight up. If appropriate, fit a plastic bag over the
cyclone to prevent the dust in the filter from spreading. Check the gasket when replacing the filter. A worn gasket can allow
