By purchasing this product you are in receipt of the SPIN manual and
you agree to follow the safety procedures and proper use outlined in
the rest of the manual. This document is part of the device. Please
read through the following instructions carefully and completely
before using the fireplace. Please keep the manual at a protected
place in order to have the instructions at hand at any time.
All provisions in this manual have to be absolutely complied with.
Attention danger! Whenever you find this sign in the
manual, we ask you to observe particular prudence.
Warning of hot surface! There is the danger of burning
yourself due to hot surface. Always wear protective gloves!
SPIN was tested and checked according to DIN EN 16647.
Nevertheless, non-observance of these safety instructions and
precautionary measures can lead to serious injuries or damage to
property through fire or explosion.
Attention! Intended and proper use:
The device must only be operated as a decorative fireplace on even
and solid undergrounds and is only intended for private use. In
combination with the increasing element or the ground spike, SPIN
is only destined for outdoor use. Without additional accessories
(increasing element or ground spike), SPIN can also be used in well-
ventilated rooms.

Only use this article according to the instructions laid down in this
manual. Any other operation of SPIN is regarded improper use and
can lead to material or personal damage.

INTO THE HOT FIRING CHAMBER
Only use the SPIN fireplace as described.
When operating a decorative fireplace, an increased fire
risk is given. Always hold ready a fire extinguisher in case
of an accident or a mishap. Never extinguish the flame
with water for this might lead to a steam explosion and can
cause severe burns.
For the use of SPIN, you must only use the höfats fire gel.
You can use the höfats combustion gel can or fill the fire gel
into the refill cup.
You can also refill a used combustion gel can. Nevertheless,
we recommend you to change the can after every use. An
already used can tends to rust and is thus no longer safe.
Immediately discard damaged cups (e.g. rust or
deformation) and replace with new ones.
In case SPIN shows an unnatural, uncontrolled burning
behavior, extinguish the fire with the extinguishing lid resp.
extinguish the fire immediately with a fire blanket or a fire
extinguisher.
Do not use liquid bioethanol or other flammable liquids
such as spirit or petroleum.
Never fill combustibles or combustion gel directly into the
fireplace as combustibles or combustion gel can leak from
the housing and thus lead to uncontrolled fire. Always use
an original höfats combustion gel can.
ATTENTION! DANGER OF LIFE! Never pour combustibles
into a still warm, hot or even burning device! The
combustibles can deflagrate and cause an increased
danger of explosion.
