Safety instructions

Caution!
Risk of accident in the case of insufficient ground
clearance!
Do not operate:
if partially lowered
if fully lowered
Before operating, always check that the cylinders
are extended to the maximum extent.
„ Before lowering:
Ensure that there is no hazard to persons and/
or material property.
Always apply the hand brake.
Uncouple the trailer.
Maintain a safety clearance of 2 m on all sides
of the trailer.
„ During lowering, the trailer may move up to 25 cm
forwards or backwards.

Maintenance and care

Safety
Caution!
Risk of accident due to trailer rolling.
Always secure the trailer with chocks before com-
mencing any maintenance or preventive mainte-
nance work!
„ During maintenance, preventive maintenance and
inspection work, check all system components for
operational safety and perfect technical condition.
„ We recommend having all maintenance and repair
work carried out only by competent specialist work-
shops or our AL-KO Service Centres.
Warranty claims are only valid if the mainte-
nance intervals have been observed.

Maintenance intervals
„ First inspection after 1500 km or 6 months
„ Then every 10000 km or once a year
Additionally every 6 months:
„ Grease upper and lower bearing of the hydraulic cyl-
inders.
Maintenance intervals must be observed!
In the case of heavy loading, the maintenance
intervals are shortened.
Care
„ Before prolonged periods of non-use, lower and
raise the trailer.
„ After winter operation, wash the hot-dip galvanized
parts with clean water (e.g. steam-jet cleaner).
Repairs
Repair work may only be carried out by competent
specialist workshops or our AL-KO Service Centres.

Spare parts

Spare parts are safety parts!
„ For installation of spare parts in our products, we ex-
clusively recommend original AL-KO parts or parts
expressly approved by us for installation.
„ In order to clearly identify spare parts, our service
stations require the spare part identification number
(ETI).
