Laden nicht mit dem Schalter und Lautstärkereg-
ler MAIN VOL (7) eingeschaltet sein, kann aber
während des Ladevorgangs ganz normal benutzt
werden.
3) Ist der Akku voll geladen, leuchtet die Lade -
anzeige CG kontinuierlich. Bei maximaler Laut -
stärke ist dann eine netzunabhängige Betriebs-
dauer von ca. 2 Stunden möglich. Bei einer
ge ringeren Laut stärke verlängert sich die Be -
triebsdauer.
4) Der Akku sollte wieder geladen werden, wenn bei
eingeschaltetem Gerät die rote Anzeige LO BAT
(8) blinkt.
5) Nach dem Betrieb oder nach dem Aufladen des
Akkus das Netzgerät von der Steckdose trennen,
damit nicht unnötig Strom verbraucht wird.
Hinweise
1. Wird die Aktivbox längere Zeit nicht benutzt,
sollte der Akku alle 2 – 3 Wochen voll aufgeladen
werden, um eine lange Akkulebensdauer zu er -
halten.
2. Weil der Akku einem normalen Alterungsprozess
unterliegt, kann für ihn keine Garantie gewährt
werden.
3. Das Ladeteil ist optimal auf den eingebauten
Akkutyp abgestimmt. Einen defekten Akku nur
durch einen gleichen Typs ersetzen – siehe Tech-
nische Daten! Anderenfalls können das Gerät
und der Akku beschädigt werden.
Werfen Sie defekte Akkus nicht in den
Hausmüll, sondern geben Sie sie nur in
den Sondermüll (z. B. bei Ihrem Fach-
händler oder einem Re cyc ling be trieb).
4.2 Aktivbox aufstellen oder transportieren
Die Aktivbox kann frei aufgestellt werden; optimaler
ist es jedoch, sie auf ein Stativ in einer Höhe von
1 – 1,5 m über dem Boden zu montieren. Für Stative
mit 9-mm-Gewinde (

") ist auf der Unterseite der

Aktivbox eine Gewindebuchse vorhanden. Für
Boxenstative mit einem Standard-Rohrdurchmesser

recharged: The green charging LED CG (9) will
flash. For charging, it is not necessary to switch
on the unit with the switch and volume control
MAIN VOL (7), however, the unit can be used as
usual during the charging process.
3) When the battery has been fully charged, the
charg ing LED CG will light continuously. In this
case, a mains-independent operating time of
approx. 2 hours at maximum volume will be pos-
sible. With a lower volume, the operating time will
be longer.
4) The battery should be recharged when the red
LED LO BAT (8) starts flashing while the unit is
switched on.
5) After operating or after recharging the battery, dis -
connect the power supply unit from the mains so -
ck et to prevent unnecessary power consumption.
Notes
1. If the active speaker system is not used for a
long er period, the battery should be fully re -
charged every 2 – 3 weeks to ensure a long life of
the rechargeable battery.
2. As the rechargeable battery is subject to normal
aging, no guarantee will be accepted for it.
3. The charging part is ideally matched to the type
of integrated rechargeable battery. Replace a
defective battery by one of the same type only –
see specifications! Otherwise the unit and the
battery may be damaged.
Defective rechargeable batteries do not
be long in the household rubbish; always
take them to a special waste disposal
(e. g. collection container at your retailer).
4.2 Setting up or transporting
the active speaker system
The active speaker system can be placed as de -
sired; however, for optimum setup it is mounted on a
stand at a height of 1 – 1.5 m above the ground. For
von 36 mm kann der Stativadapter EBH-48 von
MONACOR verwendet werden.
Für den Transport, z. B. bei einer Führung, lässt
sich der beiliegende Schultergurt oder die beilie-
gende Umhängetasche verwenden. Der Gurt wird in
die Ösen (1) eingehakt. Für den Betrieb in der Um -
hängetasche die Aktivbox so herum in die Tasche
stellen, dass der Schall vom Lautsprecher durch die
Seite mit dem Maschengewebe abgestrahlt wird.
Um an die Bedienelemente und An schlüsse zu ge -
langen, lässt sich die seitliche Taschenklappe öffnen
(Klettverschluss).
4.3 Mikrofon und Audiogeräte anschließen
Alle Anschlüsse sollten nur bei ausgeschalteter Aktiv-
box vorgenommen werden!
1) Das beiliegende Mikrofon an die Buchse MIC IN
(3) anschließen.
2) Audiogeräte mit einem Line-Ausgang (z. B. CD-
Spieler, Kassettenrekorder, Radio) lassen sich
an die Buchse AUX IN (4) anschließen.
Das Mikrofon und ein Audiogerät sollten nur
dann gleichzeitig angeschlossen werden, wenn
sich am Audiogerät der Aus gangs pegel einstel-
len lässt. Anderenfalls kann das Lautstärkever-
hältnis zwischen Mikrofon und Audiogerät nicht
verändert werden.
3) Für Tonaufnahmen lässt sich ein Aufnahme-
gerät an die Buchse MIX OUT (5) anschließen.
Der Ausgangspegel ist von der Stellung des Reg-
lers MAIN VOL (7) unabhängig.
4) Zur Beschallung einer größeren Fläche kann
eine zu sätzliche Aktivbox (z. B. eine weitere
TXA-100SET) an die Buchse MIX OUT (5) ange-
schlossen werden. Mehrere TXA-100SET lassen
sich zu einer Kette verbinden, indem immer die
Buchse MIX OUT mit der Buchse AUX IN (4) des
nächsten Gerätes verbunden wird.

system. For speaker stands with a standard tube
diameter of 36 mm, the MONACOR stand adapter
EBH-48 can be used.
For transport, e. g. in case of guided tours, use
the shoulder strap supplied or the shoulder bag sup-
plied. Fasten the strap to the eyes (1). For operation
in side the shoulder bag, put the active speaker sys -
tem into the bag in such a way that the sound from
the speaker will be radiated through the mesh side.
To access the operating elements and connections,
open the lateral flap of the bag (Velcro fastener).
4.3 Connecting the microphone
and the audio units
Always switch off the active speaker system before
connecting!
1) Connect the microphone supplied to the jack
MIC IN (3).
2) Audio units with a line output (e. g. CD player,
cassette recorder, radio) can be connected to the
jack AUX IN (4).
The microphone and an audio unit should only
be connected at the same time if the output level
can be adjusted on the audio unit; otherwise the
volume ratio between the microphone and the
audio unit cannot be modified.
3) For sound recordings, connect a recorder to the
jack MIX OUT (5). The output level is independ -
ent of the position of the control MAIN VOL (7).
4) For PA applications of larger zones, connect an
additional active speaker system (e. g. another
TXA-100SET) to the jack MIX OUT (5). For chain
connection of several TXA-100SET units, con -
nect their jack MIX OUT respectively to the jack
AUX IN (4) of the next unit.

5 Bedienung
1) Das Gerät mit dem Ein-/Ausschalter und Laut -
stärkeregler MAIN VOL (7) einschalten. Im Be -
trieb leuchtet die rote Anzeige LO BAT (8). Sollte
sie blinken, den Akku aufladen. Siehe dazu Kapi-
tel 4.1.
2) Das Mikrofon einschalten: Den Schalter (11) in
Richtung des Schutzkorbs schieben.
3) Die gewünschte Lautstärke mit dem Regler
MAIN VOL einstellen und den Klang mit dem
Regler TONE (6).

5 Operation
1) Switch on the unit with the on-off switch and
volume control MAIN VOL (7). During operation,
the red LED LO BAT (8) will light up. If it should
flash, recharge the battery. See chapter 4.1.
2) Switch on the microphone: Slide the switch (11)
towards the microphone head.
3) Adjust the desired volume with the control MAIN
VOL and the sound with the TONE control (6).
