USAGE
5-POINT HARNESS USE
1.
Hold both buckle tongues. The right side should be slightly upper.
2.
Snap two buckle tongues together. Pay attention to the back and front of the buckle
tongues.
3.
Slide towards buckle for tightening of the harness. You should hear an audible CLICK.
4.
Tighten the harness straps. Check that buckle is fastened.
5.
To tighten the harness, first, pull up the shoulder straps and
the lap straps will tighten. Then, pull on the adjuster strap.
Pull any excess the harness webbing through the buckle
towards the child's shoulders and pull on the adjuster strap.
This may need to be repeated several times for proper fit.
6.
Verify that the harness is snug around the child's waist and
shoulders. After tightening the straps, adjust the shoulder
pads to the appropriate position on the chest. Check that
the crotch pad is not bent or crooked.
NOTES:
• Tighten the straps as tightly as possible without causing any
discomfort to the child.
• A snug harness cannot be pinched, and should not allow any slack.
• Ensure the harness is snug around the child and lays flat.
• Ensure that nothing interferes with the harness.
• The lap straps should be as low as possible, close to your baby's crotch, not the belly.
WARNING: Loose straps are dangerous. Serious injury or death could occur to a child
that is not secured properly. Ensure that the straps are adjusted properly.
