GENERAL SAFETY
This product has been designed and built solel for the purpose indicated herein.
Uses other than those indicated herein ight cause da age to the product and
create a hazard.
- The units aking up the achine and its installation ust eet the require ents
of the following European Directives, where applicable: 2014/30/UE, 2014/35/UE,
2006/42/UE, 2011/305/UE, 2014/53/UE and later a end ents. For all countries
outside the UE, it is advisable to co pl with the standards entioned, in addi-
tion to an national standards in force, to achieve a good level of safet .
- The Manufacturer of this product (hereinafter referred to as the "Fir ") disclai s
all responsibilit resulting fro
which the product has been designed, as indicated herein, as well as for failure
to appl Good Practice in the construction of entr s ste s (doors, gates, etc.)
and for defor ation that could occur during use.
- Installation ust be carried out b qualified personnel (professional installer,
according to EN 12635), in co pliance with Good Practice and current code.
- Before installing the product,
safet gaps and to provide protection fro or isolate all crushing, shearing and
dragging hazard areas and danger zones in general in accordance with the
provisions of standards EN 12604 and 12453 or an local installation standards.

- Before co encing installation, check the product for da age.
- The Fir is not responsible for failure to appl Good Practice in the construction
and aintenance of the doors, gates, etc. to be
that ight occur during use.
- Make sure the stated te perature range is co patible with the site in which the
auto ated s ste is due to be installed.
- Do not install this product in an explosive at osphere: the presence of fla
fu es or gas constitutes a serious safet hazard.
- Disconnect the electricit suppl before perfor ing an work on the s ste .
Also disconnect buffer batteries, if an are connected.
- Before connecting the power suppl , ake sure the product's ratings atch the
ains ratings and that a suitable residual current circuit breaker and overcurrent
protection device have been installed upline fro
the auto ated s ste 's ains power suppl fitted with a switch or o nipolar
ther al- agnetic circuit breaker with a contact separation that provide full
disconnection under overvoltage categor III conditions.
- Make sure that upline fro the
circuit breaker that trips at no ore than 0.03A as well as an other equip ent
required b code.
- Make sure the earth s ste has been installed correctl : earth all the etal parts
belonging to the entr s ste
featuring an earth ter inal.
- Installation ust be carried out using safet devices and controls that
standards EN 12978 and EN 12453.
- I pact forces can be reduced b using defor able edges.
- In the event i pact forces exceed the values laid down b the relevant standards,
appl electro-sensitive or pressure-sensitive devices.
- Appl all safet devices (photocells, safet edges, etc.) required to keep the
area free of i pact, crushing, dragging and shearing hazards. Bear in ind the
standards and directives in force, Good Practice criteria, intended use, the instal-
lation environ ent, the operating logic of the s ste and forces generated b
the auto ated s ste .
- Appl all signs required b current code to identif hazardous areas (residual
risks). All installations ust be visibl identified in co pliance with the provisions
of standard EN 13241-1.

CHECKING THE AUTOMATED SYSTEM AND MAINTENANCE
Before the auto ated s ste is finall put into operation, and during aintenance
work, perfor the following checks eticulousl :
- Make sure all co ponents are fastened securel .
- Check starting and stopping operations in the case of anual control.
- Check the logic for nor al or personalized operation.
- For sliding gates onl : check that the rack and pinion esh correctl with 2
of pla along the full length of the rack; keep the track the gate slides on clean
and free of debris at all ti es.

DISMANTLING
If the auto ated s ste is being dis antled in order to be reasse bled at another
site, ou are required to:
- Cut off the power and disconnect the whole electrical s ste .
- Re ove the actuator fro the base it is ounted on.
- Re ove all the installation's co ponents.
- See to the replace ent of an co ponents that cannot be re oved or happen
to be da aged.
