Install the unit at a dry place

Install the unit so that it is not exposed to direct sun radiation (max. 40 ºC).
1. Remove the holder fastening screws from the strainer bottom casing and take the holder out of the strainer casing.
2. Insert the rubber feet into the openings on the bottom of the holder.
3. Place the pump back into the holder and fasten with the clamp again.
4. Connect the suction and pressure line.
– The required assembly items are included in the accessory kit.
Commissioning/start-up
N O T E
Never allow the pump to run dry. Otherwise the pump will be destroyed.
• Ensure that the pump is always flooded during operation.
• Regularly check the water level.
C A U T I O N
Risk of injury due to fast rotating components.
A temperature monitor switches the unit off automatically in the event of overload and on again once it has
cooled down.
• Isolate the unit before starting any work.
N O T E
Sensitive electrical components. Incorrect connection will destroy the unit.
• Do not connect the unit to a dimmable power supply.
This is how to connect the power supply:
Switching on the unit: Plug the power plug of the transformer into the socket. The unit switches on immediately.
Switching off the unit: Disconnect the transformer power plug.
N O T E :
A brand-new pump will only achieve its maximum capacity after several operating hours.
During start-up, the pump automatically undergoes a pre-programmed self-test of approx. two minutes (Environmen-
tal Function Control (EFC)). The pump runs through various speeds and detects whether it runs dry (is blocked) or is
submerged. The pump switches off automatically after approx. 90 seconds if it runs dry (is blocked). The pump auto-
matically makes new attempts to start up at regular intervals. In the event of a malfunction, disconnect the power sup-
ply and flood the pump or remove the obstacle. Following this, the unit can be restarted.
