Press two and
three times:
You can defi ne a freely selected passage to
be repeated automatically. To do so, proceed
as follows:
Mark the beginning of the passage to be
repeated. In order to do this, press the
button twice during playback. You will
now see the image
Mark the end of the passage to be
repeated by pressing the button a third
time. Image
display. The previously marked section is
now repeated.
Press four times: (the
CD is played continuously.
Press fi ve times: all functions are cancelled. The normal play
mode is resumed.
Only for CDs in MP3 format
The steps for pressing 1 to 4 times are repeated; see paragraph
above.
Press fi ve times:
the selected folder of the MP3 CD is repea-
ted continuously (
the display). With the FOLDER UP/BAND
button (15/13) you can select the individual
folders.
Press six times:
the function is deactivated and the CD is
played in the normal mode.
RAN(DOM)/PRE-DN (18/7)
Press once:
the display (13) contains the word RAN and
the track number that is to be played fi rst.
All tracks are played back in random order.
Press twice:
the function is deactivated and the CD is
played in the normal mode.
FOLDER UP/BAND button (15/13)
For a CD in MP3 format:
Press this button during playback to change to a folder further
down. The display, e.g. F01, fl ashes briefl y. Then the MP3 CD
begins to play back automatically.
In radio mode:
For selecting the FM (frequency modulation) or MW (medium
wave) bands.

Alarm Function

TIMER (15 on the remote control)
You can set the device so that it switches on and off again at a
certain time.

Setting the Timer
1. Press the MENU/SELECT button (19/19) twice. The words
„TIMER" appear in the display. Then press the
PLAY/PAUSE button (14/1) twice; ON TIME appears in the
display fi rst and then the hours fi gures begin to fl ash.
2. Press the I
SKIP/TUNING
buttons (8/3/4) to set the switch-on time (hours). Keep the
button pressed down until the desired hour is reached.
Press the
II ENTER/PLAY/PAUSE button (14/1) to
confi rm.
3. The minutes fi gures begin to fl ash. In order to set the
minutes fi gures of the switch-on time, press the I
TUNING
I (SKIP DOWN/UP) buttons (8/3/4). Keep the
button pressed down until the desired minutes are reached.
4. Press the
II ENTER/PLAY/PAUSE button (14/1) again to
store the time. The display then changes to OFF TIME.
5. Then press the
II ENTER/PLAY/PAUSE button (14/1).
Set the switch-off time as described above. Confi rm with the
II ENTER/PLAY/PAUSE button (14/1).

7. In order to deactivate the timer, briefl y press the TIMER
button. The word
disappears from the display.
NOTE:
You can only use the timer function in CD (MP3) and TUNER
mode and with an SD/MMC card.
Insert a CD beforehand and select CD mode. Set the
volume beforehand. The device starts to play back the CD
automatically.
Tune into the station and set the volume beforehand.
Push the card into the slot beforehand. Adjust the volume.
Delayed Shut-Off SLEEP (14 on the remote control)
With the device switched on this sets the period in 10-minute
steps from 90 to 10 minutes after which the device switches to
standby. Press the button repeatedly until the required duration
is shown in the display. With this function activated the word
SLEEP appears in the display. The device switches off auto-
matically after the set time.
In order to call up the remaining time press the SLEEP button.
This time can also be subsequently shortened or switched off
again (00 Min).
Automatic Alarm Interval SNOOZE
(21 on the remote control)
The automatic alarm function (timer) can be switched off with
the SNOOZE button for approx. 10 minutes.

Programmed Play

This can be used to program any desired sequence of tracks.
1. Press the
STOP key (17/2).
2. Press the MEM(ORY)/PROG(RAM) key (10/6). „00 P-01"
(memory location) appears in the display (13) together with
the abbreviation PROG. In MP3 format the number of the
fi le (00) fl ashes, while the track number (000), the word
PROG and the memory storage number P-01 are shown.
