The presence of unauthorized persons next to the lift and
on the platforms is strictly forbidden during lifting as wellas
when the vehicle has been already lifted.
the lift is provided with safety devices which grant the user the maximum security the
event of failure.
Specifically, the machine is equipped with four distinct safety devices:
- Mechanical device: this device is essentially composed of a claw and a rack, and im-
mediately arrests the sudden descent of the lift (within 100 mm) in the event of hydraulic
line failure or a blow-out in the circuit. Therefore this very important device must always
be kept in perfect efficiency and any tampering or removal is forbidden. It is pneumati-
cally operated.
- Hydraulic device: this consists of a counterbalance valve installed on the outlet of the
lifting cylinder, which impedes sudden lift descent in the event of hydraulic line failure.
This valve is calibrated to limit the descent speed of the lift to 0.45 m/s (lower than the
limit specified by applicable law of 0.5 m/s)
- Runway misalignment prevention device: the dual torsion bars included in the structure
prevent misalignment between the two runways from ever exceeding 50 mm.
- Anti-crushing device: on the floor mounted version, the protective pipe protects against
crushing by preventing feet from entering the danger area.
On recessed versions, crushing is prevented by an audible warning signal.
