Weldmaster
Heating up the device
To heat up the device switch the hot-air-gun to maximum power.
See temperature display
As long as the Weldmaster does not run, the airflow is directed
sideways and not through the nozzle towards the flooring. Thus
the flooring cannot be damaged by overheating. Set the speed
control with the + and - buttons.
Setting the correct speed and temperature
You have set the adequate speed and temperature, if a little
string of melted material will show at the point where welding rod
and flooring surface meets.
This indicates that the surface had melted.
If the string is getting bigger, run the Weldmaster a bit faster. It
should be hardly visible, otherwise the welding wheel may spread
it over the surface.
The following information has to be interpreted as standard
values. These values will vary on the basis of ambient
temperature, type of flooring and welding rod.
Standard values for speed and temperature
These standard values should help the user to operate the
machine. Always follow the specifications of the flooring manu-
facturers.

Connect the power supply.
The flashing speed display indicates power-on.
Nozzle covering
For welding PVC and polyolefine all 4 nozzles (1) are used. For
welding linoleum and caoutchouc, pull the nozzle covering (2),
that covers the top nozzle.
Welding
put the Weldmaster onto the groove
draw welding rod through the feed tube (3)
and under the welding wheel (4)
The welding rod must lay in the groove, the rear guide wheel
must sit above the groove.
Operating panel
To start the Weldmaster press the START button. After releasing
the button, the Weldmaster will heat the flooring and start to run
at the pre-set speed.
Set the optimum temperature with the switch at the top of the
hot-air-gun.
