Definition of terms
The muted sensors (FGS Safety Light Curtain) can also be
selected using the menu (receiver 1, receiver 2, both
receivers, no receiver).
The muting time can be limited by a programmable, failsafe
timing circuit in the LCU (watchdog).
After deactivating the muting signals (muting sensors off), the
LCU stays another 50 ms in the muted state (off delay).
The sensor on the 2nd input circuit of the LCU operates only in
Guard-Only Mode and is reset using the reset switch.
Optionally, the 2nd Sensor can be operated as an optical
restart interlock (start condition for the machine: sensing field
clear).
In this mode, the 2nd sensor is automatically deactivated after
the machine has been started.
The function "with Restart interlock" must be selected
(connection between terminal 52–54).
