Foreign body in the pump, WSK triggered.
Turn off the pump and ensure that it is not turned on by unauthorised
personnel,
Close the shut-off fittings at the back and front of the pump.
Remove the pump from the liquid.
Remove foreign bodies from the pump.
The pump is sucking in air due to an excessive drop in the liquid level.
Check the function/adjustments of the control level.
Pump working against insulating air cushion
Stationary wet-well installation
Lift the non-return valve using the fixing screw.
Once the typical noises (bubbling) have stopped, the pump is drained.
After draining, screw the fixing screw back in.
Where the non-return valve is very difficult to access, lift the pump roughly 3
cm along the chain and wait until no more air bubbles are released. Lower the
pump.
