5 Operating malfunctions___________________________

DISCONNECT THE MACHINE BEFORE
ANY INTERVENTION
5.1 STARTING PROBLEMS:
If the divider does not start, check:
-
That the divider is plugged in
-
That the power supply from the socket
corresponds with the one stated on the ratings
plate
-
That the disconnection switch is in the ON
position
-
That there is nothing blocking the machine's
interior mechanical parts
-
The condition of the fuses in the electrical
cabinet
-
The magneto-thermal circuit breaker
-
That the motor start microswitch located on the
hydraulic distributor (behind the divider's front
panel) is connected and operating correctly
• If moving the control lever starts the motor but
does not activate raising or lowering:

DISCONNECT THE MACHINE BEFORE
ANY INTERVENTION
6.1 SERVICING BY A TECHNICIAN:
Once every 18 months it is recommended to:
-
Check the condition of the lid locking
mechanism
-
Check the oil level in the hydraulic unit
-
Open the rear door to check the oil level in the
tank
-
Place the head in the lower position and
unscrew the breather plug on the tank. Oil
should reach 2cm below the tank lid
-
Check there is no leak at the connections
(distributor, power unit and cylinder)
-
Thoroughly clean the divider throughout (see
§4.2)
If the problem persists contact your
retailer's maintenance service.
-
Unplug the machine
-
Switch the two phase wires on the plug
-
Plug in again and test
5.2 OIL LEAK:
If oil leaks out onto the floor:
-
Turn the disconnecting switch to the OFF
position
-
Remove the side panels using a screwdriver
-
Check the hose connections on the distributor
and hydraulic unit
-
Locate the leak and retighten the hoses
-
If the leak persists (especially when located in
the cylinder) call your reseller's maintenance
department for diagnosis and repair
Machine cleaning operations are a
significant source of flour dust emission
6.2 POWER UNIT OIL CHANGE:
Consult
department:
-
Ensure the complete head/cutters unit is in the
lowered position
-
Unplug the machine
-
Remove the side panels using a screwdriver
-
Remove the hoses after marking each one for
identification purposes
-
Protect the openings of the hoses and the
hydraulic unit
-
Drain the tank (if required remove the power
unit)
-
Fill the unit with new oil (having replaced the
hoses)
-
Run a few cycles and check the oil level in the
tank (in the lowered position, it should reach
about 2cm below the stopper)
