3.1 General information
• Please read this instruction book care-
fully before use. It is an integral part of
the appliance and must be available at
all times.
• Only use the appliance for the intended
use described (see "1.1 Intended use"
on page 9).
• Never
heat
the
pressure pot without filling it with water,
oil or fat first. This could overheat the
pan and cause it serious damage.
• Make
sure
that
completely evaporates.
• The pot should be no more than 2/3 full.
For rising or expanding contents the pot
should be half-filled at most.
• Only use the pan when all parts are
clean. Dirtiness and grease could affect
the functioning of the steam valve.
• Ensure that the screws for the Designer-
Grip 5 are always tight. If the screws
have become loose, they must be re-
tightened.
Caution! The appliance must be cleaned
thoroughly before the first use in order to
remove any residue from production (see
paragraph 5.1 on page 13).
