Operating principle
The INFRAcontrol motion sensors are passive-infrared
motion sensor. The sensors of the INFRAcontrol moti-
on sensor can detect and evaluate invisible heat rays
of moving bodies (humans, animals, etc.), and convert
them electronically switching processes. However, heat
rays cannot penetrate obstacles, such as walls, glass
panes, etc. This must be taken into consideration when
selecting a suitable installation location. If possible, the
motion sensor should be installed so that it is protected
against direct sunlight in order to prevent unwanted
switching processes.
Note: cover frame not included in the scope of delivery.
Installation instructions
The flush-mounted motion sensor is designed for instal-
lation in flush-mounted boxes 1 .
The motion sensor can be attached in the flush-moun-
ted box with the aid of retaining clamps, or the support
frame can be screwed to the flush-mounted box by me-
ans of the flush-mounted box machine screws.
