Operation
None of the 4 warning lamps should light up while the engine is
running.
Protection devices for oil pressure, coolant temperature and out-
3
side water supply will switch the generator set off automatically
if a fault occurs.
The 'Charge' warning lamp will light up when the dynamo no
longer charges, but the engine will continue to run.
Stopping
Switch off all the ship's electrical equipment. Allow the generator
set to run for about minute without load.
Press the 'STOP' key until the 'In Operation' light goes off. Then
release the 'STOP' button. The engine has now stopped.
