Installing Magnet Contact
The magnet contact can be installed on doors, windows or any other objects that open
and close. When installing it on a window the sensor (large part) can be applied to the
frame and the magnet on the window itself.
Install the sensor and magnet in
closed position (within 1cm), when
they are separated more than
1cm, it blinks once.
Apply both parts with the included
double-sided tape. It is also
possible to apply the contact with
screws.
Avoid mounting sensors in areas
with a large quantity of metal or
electrical wiring, such as a furnace
or utility room. Always check if the
LED indicator blinks when opening
the door or window.
IMPORTANT: The magnet contact must be positioned on the right side of the sensor. There are
triangle marks on both transmitter and magnet which should be pointing towards each other.
