This unit ma be installed either at the bottom of the all (ad acent to the oor) or at the top (ad acent to the ceiling). To optimise
air distribution and ambient comfort the air outlet must be modi ed b changing solel the electronic con guration of the air outlet
ap depending on the t pe of installation. Proceed as follo s to carr out the above con guration:
1.
Connect the po er suppl .
2.
Ensure the machine is in standb ; check that all the LEDs on the displa ( g.19) are off.
3.
Press the displa button ( g.19 ref. H) until a beep sounds then release the button.
4.
Immediatel after point 3 to con gure the machine for a high all installation press the displa button ( g.19 ref. H). The
ello LED C s itches on ( g.19).

6.
Wait a fe seconds until the standb mode is restored before starting the machine; check that all the LEDs on the displa
( g.19) are off.
Note: the green LED D and the red LED A will also switch on in phases 4 and 5

TESTS AND TROUBLESHOOTING
Should the air-conditioner stall and issue an alarm signal refer to the Service Centre hich LEDs are blinking in order to simplif
their intervention ( g. 22).

After this operation the LED must be switched off manually as indicated in section 2.6.1
2.5.1
Evacuating condensate water during an emergency
If there should be a malfunction in the condensation ater drain s stem the air conditioner stops orking and signals
orange green and red lights (the second and third LEDs from the left) the alarm status.
To enable the air conditioner to ork temporaril until the service personnel arrive
simple instructions:

remove the cap after having placed a good-sized container underneath it (at least 5-liter capacit ) to collect
the ater (see g. 20)

after having cleared the fault the service personnel ill close the evacuation pipe.
2.6
ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
The air conditioner that ou have purchased has been designed to reduce routine maintenance operations to a minimum. These
operations involve solel the cleaning operations outlined belo :
-
Cleaning or ashing of the ambient air lter ever 2 eeks or ever time the relative red LED lights up (this can be done b the
user see user manual).

Cleaning of the condensing batter and cleaning of the condensate management s stem. These operations must be carried
out b skilled technicians on a regular basis that ill depend on the place of installation and intensit of use. Depending on the
quantit of dirt the unit can be cleaned dr (b using a batter compressor and bo l and cleaning the ns
taking care not to deform them) or more thoroughl using dedicated detergents.
Before ou leave the site of installation ou should gather up all packing material and use a damp cloth to remove an traces of
dust that ma have deposited on the machine during assembl ( g. 21).
These operations though certainl not essential have a bene cial effect as the enhance the professional image of the installer
in the e es of the client.
To prevent unnecessar calls b the user before ou leave the site of installation it is also a good idea to:
