Descaling
CAUTION!
Complaints will not be accepted if the samovar is not decalcified regularly as
described in the instruction manual.
Such complaints are no cases of warranty!
o Bad water conditions might lead to calcification. This results in longer heating
periods and might damage the device.
o Depending on the frequency of usage and water quality, descale the water reservoir
every 1-2 weeks.
CAUTION!
Descale the samovar regularly!
o Fill the water tank with fresh water, add vinegar or a common descaling agent and
boil up the solution.
o Also let some of the solution flow trough the tap in order to remove calcifications
here as well.
o Repeat the boiling up the descaling solution another 1-2 times.
o Let the device cool off for a few minutes.
o After descaling, pour out the descaling solution. Rinse the reservoir thoroughly in
clean water, and pour some water out through the spigot.
o If the teapot also shows calcification, proceed accordingly as described above for
the water tank of the Samovar.
NOTE!
Use pre-filtered water in order to avoid calcification!
