PLEASE NOTE!
This machine is equipped with an alarm system which is no water entering, or the level of
water in the boiler is incorrect.
ALARM SIGNAL: a. - The LED´S of all touch pads will blink. The only touch pad that will function is the one
for "Continuous brew ".
b. - The boiler level indicator lights will blink and the boiler refill will cease. The only touch
pad that will function is the one for "Continuous Brew".
DEACTIVATING THE ALARM: Turn the general switch (2l) to the position "0", off, and then turn it back to
15. - MODELS WITH COFFEE COUNTER. (Optional KIT for electronic machines).
15a Check that the counter counts all the buttons (1 coffee = 1 jump, 2 coffees = 2 jumps).

For machines fitted with gas burners and installed to use this form of energy, it should be taken into
consideration that the machine is designed for BUTANE GAS; if this is the type of gas used by the
customer, connect the machine to the gas circuit making sure that there are no leaks. In the event of
using any other type of gas (natural or town), replace the injector with one suited to the type of gas used.
Proceed as follows to light the gas burner:
1. Open the main gas stop cock or valve if it is bottled gas.
2. Case "A". - Turn the gas control to the left (See Fig. A) and press it. Light the burner with a flame OR
press the switch (E) and hold the control down for 10 seconds. Release slowly.
Case "B"- Press on the gas control (See Fig. B). Light the burner with a flame OR press the switch
(E) and hold the control down for 10 seconds. Release slowly.
If the pressure of the boiler is to be maintained only with the gas burner, place the main switch (2l) in
position "2" to disconnect the resistance of the water heater.

E), - Piezoelectric lighter (see model), press to make it spark and light the burner, With the lighter
position "1", on.
If the alarm signal persists, check that there is water in the mains system
that supplies the machine. If this is the case, call your service agent.
If there is no water in the mains system that supplies the machine, wait until
the supply is re-established and deactivate the alarm.
