Attention! Rotating string!
Tool is still running!
• Always disconnect from the power supply
before performing any work on the trimmer!
• You can prolong the life of your trimmer by remov-
ing grass from the ventilation slots and the bottom
of the trimmer before or after each use.
Replacing the cord spool

Before switching on: Hold trimmer parallel
to the ground; otherwise, there is danger of
injury.

1. Press both locking tabs of spool cover simultane-
ously and remove
2. Remove cord spool.
3. Clean, if necessary.
4. Insert cord spool into housing
5. Thread the end of the wire through the eye of the
wire box

To avoid inadvertent unwinding, do not
take wire on the new spool out through the
support holes before inserting
6. Place the spool cover on the cord spool holder so
that the two locking tabs lock into place.

1. Forcefully press both catches together on the
spool cover
2. Remove line spool.
3. Remove any soiling.
4. Feed the end of the line from the new line spool
through the line eyelet in the housing cover and in-

sert the spool cassette into the housing cover
Ensure that the line spool is inserted as il-
lustrated.
5. Attach spool cover to the line spool holder, ensur-
ing that both catches click into position

When the lawn trimmer is switched on, the
line is cut to working length. Switch on unit
in operating position only.
