Changing a tool (Figure 4+5)
CAUTION! Unplug from the
power source!
The drill has a quick-action chuck for
changing tool manually without a key.
Suitable for tools using the SDS+
system.
Point the chuck upwards. Insert a
lightly oiled tool shaft and turn to
the locking point. Push holder
down to the stop: The tool will slide into
the accommodation shaft.
Release the holder - it must return to
the starting position.
Removing a tool (Figure 6)
CAUTION! Unplug from the
power source!
Push the holder back, pull the tool out
of the chuck.

Mounting the additional handle
(Figure 7)
The additional handle (7) can be
mounted on the right or the left of the
chuck, as required. Release the handle
piece of the additional handle by turning
to the left until it can be pushed over
the chuck (8) and onto the tensioning
neck (9). The holder cams on the
underside of the tensioning neck (a)
must fit into the holder grooves (b) of
the tensioning ring. This allows you to
select a comfortable working position
and, at the same time, secures the
additional handle from vibration-related
sliding. Tighten the handle piece, by
turning to the right until the additional
handle is fixed to the machine.
Setting the depth stop (Figures 8a
and b)
• Insert a drill and lock into place.
• Loosen the wing screw (10) on the
additional handle (7) by turning to the
left.
• Insert the depth stop (13) into the
guide (c) in such a way (Figure 8a)
that the measuring scale on the front
insert (d) can be read (Figure 8b).
Push the depth stop to the length of
the inserted drill. Do this by pushing
the drill up against an even wall.
• At the front insert, read the relevant
value from the depth stop and deduct
the required drilling depth from this
value.
• Set the new value by sliding the
depth stop on the front insert. Fix the
depth stop in place by turning the
winged screw to the right.
