8 – Operation
Revolution preset (Figure 9)
In order to protect the materials
you are working on, use the
revolution recommendations
made by the accessory manufacturer.
Revolution preset with adjustment
wheel (4):
• Turn the adjustment wheel in the "+"
direction as far as it will go = highest
revolutions.
• Turn the adjustment wheel in the "-"
direction as far as it will go = lowest
revolutions.
The revolutions can be controlled
steplessly using pressure on the on/off
switch (3) up to the preset revolutions
selected on the adjustment wheel (4).
When operating in continuous mode
with the on/off switch locked, the
machine operates at the preset
revolutions.
Setting the mode (Figure 10)
CAUTION! All modes may only
be set when the motor is at a
complete standstill!
To set the appropriate
mode, press the locking
button on the selection
knob (6) and turn the selection switch to
the right or the left and set the required
mode using the arrow symbol

Meaning of the symbols
. Release
Drilling without hammer function
for wood with conventional drill bits.
For this mode, a conventional crown
gear chuck (11) with adapter is
inserted into the chuck (8).
Screwing screws into and out, in
conjunction with a conventional
crown gear chuck (11) and suitable
screwdriver bits (Figure 15) (not
supplied).
Drilling without hammer function,
ideally into metal, with conventional
high-speed steel metal drill bits.
Thanks to the second gear and the
associated high revolutions, the
hammer drill is also a full drill. For
this mode, a conventional crown
gear chuck (11) with adapter is
inserted into the chuck (8).
Hammer drilling in cement
and brickwork without
additional drilling chuck. To do
this, suitable hammer drills are
inserted into the chuck (8) (not
supplied).
Chasing in tiles and brickwork.
To do this, suitable chases are
inserted into the chuck (8) (not
supplied). The rotating function
of the machine is deactivated in
this mode.
Setting the working angle. In
this position, a chase fitted in
the chuck can be rotated
manually in order to set a
suitable working angle between
the chase and the machine. As
soon as the selection knob is
rotated to the chase mode ( ),
the set working angle is locked
and then maintained during
operation.
