SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS

• Carefully read the directions for use before you begin
operating the Biogents Mosquitaire.
• The Mosquitaire catches tiger mosquitoes considerably
well; however, it off ers minimal protection against other
blood-sucking insects. In case of an
epidemic that is caused by tiger mosquitoes, you should
take further protective measures since using the trap
alone does not off er 100% protection.
• For the maintenance of the Mosquitaire trap and the con-
trol of the mosquito catch rate, household gloves should
be worn and the catch bag should be
properly removed to avoid mosquitoes from escaping.
• If the Mosquitaire trap is used outside please make sure
the transformer is completely isolated from rain and
splash water.
• WARNING: An electric shock hazard may exist if water
from a garden hose is directed at the insect trap.
• When using extension cords please keep the socket-out-
let away from any moisture and avoid damage to the cord.
• The appliance is not to be used in or around locations
where fl ammable vapour or explosive dust is likely to
exist.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (inclu-
APPROPRIATE USES AND REGULATIONS
The Biogents Mosquitaire trap is designed to capture tiger
mosquitoes outside, as well as inside the house. It needs
to be protected from rain and direct sun exposure, and
should be placed in an area where it will not be submerged
in water. The trap and the transformer need to be protected
from intense heat (above 40°C) and extreme cold (below
5°C). The Mosquitaire should also not be used in very dusty

• Only allow qualifi ed specialists with original parts to
repair the Biogents Mosquitaire trap.
• The power supply and its fl exible cable cannot be re-
paired. If it is damaged it shall be scrapped.
