❐ Never try to repair an electrical device yourself; contact your nearest customer service
centre/specialist dealer to ensure your own safety. In the event of damage, please contact
the customer service.
❐ Only the accessory parts supplied by the manufacturer should be used. If accessory parts
which are not authorised by the manufacturer are used, all warranty and guarantee claims
are void.
❐ Never leave the device unsupervised during operation!
❐ Make sure that children cannot play with the device. In case of use in the vicinity of children,
make sure that children touch neither the device nor the mains cable.
❐ CAUTION: Danger of burns! The raclette device, the hot stone, the little raclette pans,
the fondue forks and the fondue pot will become very hot during use. Please make sure
that while and after using the raclette device you do not come into contact with heated
parts. Only touch the handles and the temperature controller while the raclette device is
in use or immediately after it has been switched off. Wear oven gloves when moving the
fondue pot. Only transport, clean or put away the raclette device, the hot stone, the little
raclette pans, the fondue forks and the fondue pot when they have completely cooled
down.
❐ CAUTION: Danger of burns! Be careful when handling hot oil or hot cheese in the
fondue pot! Never pour water into hot oil or water into other fatty substances!
❐ Never place aluminium foil or other objects between the fondue pot and the heating
element.
❐ Make sure that the heating element does not come into contact with any other objects.
❐ Never use the raclette as a device for heating a room!
❐ Do not place any combustible materials (e. g. cardboard, plastic, paper or candles) on or
under the grill plate.
❐ The little raclette pans will become very hot during use! Only place the little raclette pans
down on heat-resistant surfaces.
❐ Never spray cold water onto the hot parts of the device during or directly after use. This
could damage the raclette device, the non-stick coating and in particular the hot stone!
❐ In order to prepare your fondue, only heat up the fondue pot on an electric or glass
ceramic cooker. Do not use other sources of heat like ovens to heat up the fondue pot.
The pot is not suitable for induction cookers! Make sure you wear oven gloves when
transferring hot substances!
❐ Always insert the receptacle for the fondue pot into the raclette grill plate before you place
the fondue pot onto the raclette grill plate (see the "Using the Raclette" and "Fondue"
chapters). Without the receptacle, it is not possible to guarantee that the pot can be held
in place securely.
❐ For the fondue, only use fats and oils which are suitable for frying.
❐ Remove the mains plug from the mains socket
– if you are not using the device,
– if a fault occurs during operation,
– before a thunderstorm,
– before you clean it.
