Setting Up
1. Screw the table clamp i of the magni-
fier lamp to a table top. Insert the flex
stand r into the upper hole y of the
table clamp i.
2. Alternatively, attach the table clamp
i to a vertical surface that provides
sufficient stability (illustration
p. 2). Insert the flex stand r into the
lateral hole u of the table clamp i.
3. Use the plastic screw t to adjust the
mobility in the respective hole. Do
not over-tighten the screw, otherwise
the thread of the adjusting screw will
be damaged. The screw is not de-
signed for providing a secure connec-
tion between the flexible arm and the
table clamp and therefore preventing
the table clamp from falling off the
flexible arm.
4. Plug the wall plug transformer o into
a properly connected power socket.
This should be done using an AC
adapter (provided) that is suitable
for your country (EU, GB, USA) which
has been previously inserted into the
wallplug transformer o.
5. Switch on the light using the on/
off switch e on the handle. A slight
amount of heat generation in the
vicinity of the illuminated LEDs is
normal.
6. Select the intensity of the light using
the small changeover switch q - full
ring light (figure
ring segment light only ( ). The seg-
ment light makes it easier to recog-
nise surface structures.
7. Set the magnifying glass light to the
required working height using the
flexible arm r. The top of the magnify-
ing glass can be rotated in the direc-
tion of the arm axis. The lens can also
be swivelled by 90° in relation to the
arm axis with ring light w (figure
on pg. 2). The ease of movement can
be adjusted using the plastic adjust-
ing screws a. Do not over-tighten the
screws, otherwise the thread of the
adjusting screws will be damaged.
8. In order to switch the device off, press
the on/off switch e on the handle.
9. To disconnect the device from the
on
power supply, unplug the wall plug
transformer o from the socket.
