6.4 Winterizing

Make sure to wear gloves, eye protection, and
protect any exposed skin when removing chlorine
tablets. Review the safety and first aid information
provided with all chemicals before using.
Consult your dealer for complete information on pool
care and maintenance in cooler temperatures.
In cold climates, where the pool is closed:
1.
Remove the Nature
discard with household trash.
2.
It is also recommended to remove the vessel and
store indoors. Use expansion plugs for the pipe
openings, or a Spool Piece (sold separately) to
replace the vessel during winterizing or vessel
maintenance, which enables the pool pump to
circulate water with the vessel out of the line.
3.
Replace empty chlorine holder into unit, retighten
collar and run pump for 30 minutes.
4.
Remove and save the drain plug.
5.
Rinse out Nature
water.
6.
If blowing lines clear with air, set chlorine
regulator dial to 6.
7.
After completing winterization, loosen collars.
