3. Start-up

Check to see if all of the fittings in the hoses are tight enough.
Set the pump lever to the working position.
Filling the tank
Pay attention to your own safety: Wear gloves, safety glasses, a safety mask and protective clothing.
Read the instructions provided by the spray agent provider.
Only fill the tank with a water soluble/or an already mixed powder liquid form through the filling filter.
First fill the tank with a 1/3 of the required amount of water, then add the chemicals and after that fill up the
rest of the tank with water. This ensures that no concentrate is left in the appliance's hose and that the spray
mixture is completely homogeneous.
Check to see whether the O-ring is in place and then seal the cap tightly. This prevents spillage of the spray
mixture.

4. Operation

Pumps
To achieve a consistent spray pattern right from the beginning, it is recommended that the pressure is first
built up (10 pump strokes, approx. 2 bar), then, and only then, should the pistol valve be operated. If the
appliance is not going to be pumped whilst in operation, the lever should be set to the upper pump limit to
avoid air being released at low pressure.
Spraying
Operating the pistol valve will spray the agent. The spray pattern can be adjusted by turning the nozzle head
in the following ways.
Pump lever
Connecting rod
and piston unit
Shaft
direction for right-handed operation
Do not twist the
pump lever
