Reversing the direction the doors open
The doors normally open to the left (hinges on the right);
if you wish to open the door to the right, you can modify
the direction in which it opens by following the instruc-
tions below. To ensure correct installation, please scrupu-
lously follow the directions and the sequence of
operations below:
Removing the door
1.
Open the refrigerator's door and remove the covers
at the top A and the back B using a pointed tool (for
instance a screwdriver), starting with the side oppo-
site the hinge (R1).
2.
Disconnect connector C, remove the cable from its
housing and fasten it with adhesive tape to the appli-
ance's control panel (R2).
3.
Close the door again and gently lay the appliance on
its back.
4.
Remove the plinth by pulling the lugs D on the lower
part towards you and swivelling the plinth upwards
to disengage it (R3). Remove cover E from its hous-
ing on the left and insert it in the housing on the
right.
5.
Remove the bottom hinge pin and release it from its
housing F; retrieve the plastic distance piece placed
between the door and the hinge on the pin; unscrew
the bottom hinge G and screw the pin into the left-
hand hole in the hinge (R5).
6.
Remove the freezer's door (R5).
7.
Unscrew the middle hinge H, taking care not to lose
the plastic distance pieces inserted on the pin (R5).
8.
Free the refrigerator's door from the top hinge ( R6).
9.
Remove the screw and the covers from the central
section on the left-hand side of the appliance and in-
sert them in the holes on the right-hand side.
