1.0 Unpacking the unit
Ensure that the packing is undamaged and inspect for transport damage. If you find transport damage,
inform the transport company immediately. The transport company is liable for any damage incurred
during transport.
2.0 Connecting the unit
The unit is supplied ready for operation. You can work with the unit immediately after inserting a
suitable carbide milling cutter.
Electrical connection 230 V ~ 6A 50/60 Hz (or 110 V ~ 6A 50/60 Hz)
The 1050 Watt motor has a safety switch. If the plug is pulled out of is the power fails while the motor
is running, the switch assumes the "OFF" position.

4.0 Carbide Mills
Tests at the factory have identified solid carbide end mills that cover a wide range of materials for
machining. Different manufacturers' varied cutting edge geometries and helix angles produce various
milling results and service lives.
HSS milling tips are also suitable for some materials such as wood or plastic.

Pull out main plug.
k) Undo the motor holder's clamping screw using the supplied hexagon socket spanner.

Remove the drive motor. When doing this, do not tilt or use force.
m) Lock the milling spindle with an open-ended spanner and at the same time loose the clamping nut
with the other open-ended spanner.
n) Remove the carbide mill. Caution: Risk of injury on the milling cutter cutting edges!
o) Insert a new mill – pay attention to the clamping position.
p) Tighten the clamping nut moderately.
q) Push the motor back into the cleaned retaining hole as far as it will go. Do not tilt.

Tighten the clamping screw moderately with the clamping screw.
Attention:
Overtightening the clamping screw can damage the front bearing assembly in
the drive motor.
Tip:
Moving the milling cutter axially enables the entire cutting length of the tool's cutting
edges to be utilised.
