Mounting steps

Proceed as follows for the installation:
1. Prepare M5 threaded holes on the mounting plate according to the
mounting grid.
2. When using footprint filters: Screw installation backplane and footprint
filter together.
–
Use screw and washer assemblies M5 x 20 mm or hexagon socket
screws M5 x 20 mm with washers.

Tightening torque: 3.4 Nm (30 lb−in)
3. Screw the installation backplane or footprint filter with installation
backplane onto the mounting plate. Do not yet tighten the screws.

Use M5 screw and washer assemblies or M5 hexagon socket screws
with washers.

The screw joint in the installation backplane may jut out no more
than 7 mm.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 with further installation backplanes which are
mounted side by side.
5. Align all installation backplanes.
6. Screw all installation backplanes/footprint filters onto the mounting
plate.

Tightening torque: 3.4 Nm (30 lb−in).
