Branch circuit protection:
– Suitable for use on a circuit capable of delivering not more
than 5000 rms symmetrical amperes, 500 V max.
– Suitable for use on a circuit capable of delivering not more
than 50000 rms symmetrical amperes, 500 V max., when
protected by CC, J, T or R Class fuses.
– Above Short Circuit ratings are only valid when the Assembly
Bases are used.
– Above Short Circuit ratings are also valid when supplied by
prescribed and UL Listed, Lenze AC/DC Supply/Brake Units.
– Use fuses specified with the Lenze AC/DC Supply/Brake Units.
Voltage of the fuses must at least be suitable with the input
voltage of the drive.
Transient surge suppression shall be installed on the line side of
this equipment and shall have met the requirements of CSA
C22.2 No. 8, and shall be rated 277 V (phase to ground), 480 V
(phase to phase), suitable for overvoltage category III, and shall
provide protection for a rated impulse withstand voltage peak of
L−L 1.8 kV
The integral solid state protection does not provide branch circuit
protection and that branch circuit protection has to be provided
externally in accordance with manufacturers instructions, the
National Electrical Code and any additional codes.

For information on rating and proper connection of the thermal
protector (only for connection to motors having integral thermal
protection), see the corresponding Application Manuals or
Software Helps.
Maximum surrounding air temperature: 55 °C.
Use 60/75 °C copper wire only, except for control circuits.
