Metal drill jig
How to mount the screen on your motorbike:
1. Stand your motorbike up on a level surface.
2. Place the drill jig supplied (left-hand side in the recess) into the recess on the left. The sharp corner
on the thick end of the jig should point downwards towards the right. Make sure that the drill jig
lines up with the smooth part of the plastic grille (P2).
3. Holding the drill jig firmly, carefully drill a 12 mm hole through the into the black grille using the
gimlet fitted with the 12 mm drill bit (P3).
4. After drilling into the left hand grille, remove the drill jig and place it into the recess on the right. The
sharp corner on the thick end of the jig should point downwards towards the left. Make sure that
the drill jig lines up with the smooth part of the plastic grille (P4).
5. Proceed as described in 3.
6. Insert the M6 x 30 mm Allen screws and washers through the brackets, and place the spacers onto
the screw shanks from behind (P5).
7. Mount the brackets onto your bike, turn the screws in but do not tighten them up yet.
8. Insert the rubber nuts through the brackets (P6).
9. Insert the 20mm M5 oval head screws with the plastic washers into the holes on your MRA screen.
Place the spacers onto the screws from the inside. Pro tip: Place the O-rings supplied onto onto the
screws after placing the spacers to make mounting easier (P7).
10. Position your MRA screen on the brackets and tighten the screws up.
11. Line up your MRA screen towards the middle of your bike and tighten up the screws on the brackets.
12. Mount the edge protection strip included onto the screen as shown in P8.
After installation, check that all of the screws are tight; tighten them up if necessary. Repeat this at
regular intervals. Clean the screen with water, neutral soap and a sponge. Do not use solvents, alcohol or
