4. FITTING THE MAIN POST.-
Bring the main post (9) up to boss on
the main body (55).
G842N: Connect the terminals (56) and
(10), Fig.5a.
G840: Connect the terminals (56) and
(10), and the terminals (14) and (73).
Verify the tension knob works properly.
Fig.5b.
Slip the main post (8) over the boss on
the main body (55), making sure not to
snag any of the cables.
Refit the screws (11), and tighten
securely.
5. FITTING THE FOCUS BARS.-
Insert the left focus bar (102) (marked
with the letter "L") onto the focus bar
spindle Fig.6,with the waher (87) and
the washer (88). fit the bolt (84) at the
end of the axle with washer (85) and
fwashers (86), with the help of the box
spanners tighten securely. Place the
cap (83).
Take the right focus bar (103), (marked
with the letter "R") and go through the
same assembly procedure as with the
left.
6. FOOTREST ASSEMBLY.-
Pick up the left footrest (27) marked
with the letter (L), and insert the left
foot in the foot strap (52) Fig.7.
Screw it with bolts (99).
Perform the same assemble with the
right footrest (28) marked with the letter
(R) and the the foot strap (53) Fig.7.
Pick up the left footrest (27) marked
with the letter (L), and insert the axle in
the foot strap (33) Fig.7.
Next, insert the bolt (32) the pedal
connection plate (30) and with washer
(31) and tighten.
Perform the same assemble with the
right footrest (28) marked with the letter
(R) in the foot strap (34) Fig.7.
ATTENTION:
retighten these screws after one
month of using the machine.
7. FITTING THE FOOT STRAP.-
Fit the foot strap (27) and position it
with the lower focus bar (102) as
shown in Fig.7, lining up the holes.
Next, insert the bolt (95) and with
washer (97) with the bushing (96) and
the nut (98) and tighten.
Fit the foot strap (28) and position it
with the lower focus bar (103) as
shown in Fig.7, lining up the holes.
Next, insert the bolt (95) and with
washer (97) with the bushing (96) and
the nut (98) and tighten.
If you feel the foot strap has looseness,
follow these steps:
- Remove the bolt.
- Add one or more washers.
- Tighten again bolt.
8. FITTING THE UPPER
FOCUS BARS.-
Once you have assembled the top focus
bars, take the lower focus bar (100)
(marked with the letter "L") and insert it
onto the boss for the top bar (102),
Fig.8, lining up the holes for the screws.
Refit the screws (93) with the washer
(94) and the nut (82) Fig.8, and tighten
securely.
Go through the same procedure for the
lower right focus bar (101) (marked
with the letter "R").
