ASSEMBLY
ALWAYS TURN OFF THE TOOL BEFORE CHANGING
ACCESSORIES, CHANGING COLLETS, OR SERVICING
THE TOOL.
IMPORTANT CHARGING NOTES
1. The charger was designed to charge the battery only
when the battery temperature is between 32°F (0°C)
and 122°F (50°C). If the battery pack is too hot or too
cold, the charger will not fast charge the battery. (This
may happen if the battery pack is hot from heavy use).
When the battery temperature returns to between 32°F
(0°C) and 122°F (50°C), the charger will automatically
begin charging.
2. A substantial drop in operating time per charge may
mean that the battery pack is nearing the end of its life
and should be replaced.
3. Remember to unplug charger during storage period.
NOTE: Use of chargers or battery packs not sold by
Dremel will void the warranty.

L. Charger
1. Battery of new tools is not fully charged.
2. Plug charger into wall socket.
3. Insert charger plug into battery as illustrated.
4. Charging light turns on indicating that the battery is
being charged.
5. The charging operation will be completed after 1 hour
or when the Charging Light turns from red to green.
6. Unplug the charger from the tool after charging period
has ended thereby lengthening the service life of the
battery.
IMPORTANT:
Do not charge at temperatures below 0°C and over 40°C;
this will seriously damage the battery as well as the
charger.
While charging, the charger and the battery may become
warm to touch; this is normal and does not indicate a
problem.
A battery that is new or has not been used for a longer
period does not develop its full capacity until after
approximately 5 charging/discharging cycles.
Do not repeatedly recharge the battery after only a few
minutes of operation; this may result in a reduction of
operating time and battery efficiency.
The battery must be kept separate from the natural
environment and should not be disposed of as normal
domestic waste (symbol
the need for disposing occurs).
If you anticipate long periods of non-use for the tool, it is
best to unplug the charger from its power source.
