Introduction
If the monitor is used in medical practice
(in accordance with the legislation govern-
ing the operation of medical devices), it
should be calibrated at regular intervals
(see page 70).
The boso-medicus X blood pressure moni-
tor is suitable for patients with an upper
arm circumference of between 22 and 48
cm. The monitor is not suitable for neona-
tals.
Wireless communication devices, such as
home networking devices, mobile phones,
cordless phones and their base stations,
walkie-talkies can affect this blood pres-
sure monitor. Therefore, a minimum
distance of 11 feet should be kept from
such devices.
