The
flash

ll lire briefly live times
(pre-flash),
then lire the
sixth time
for taking
a picture.
*The AF lamp in
the
viewfinder eyepiece keeps
lighting
from
pre-flash
to
exposure.
Do not
move the camera
wh ile the
AF
lamp is lighting.

When
you
photograph
a
person·s face in dim light
with
flash

the
eyes will
sometimes tu rn
out
red
in
the
picture.

happens
as
the
light
from the flash
enters the
eyes
and
is
reflected
back into

camera
lens.

red-eye
reduction flash mode. the
subject's
pupils
are closed dawn before the

finally.
