OPERATIONS AT END OF PERIOD OF USE
To entirely empty the internal circuit of the water it contains,
remove the cap (fig. 32).
Let all the water drain into a basin or bowl. When all the water
has come out, replace the cap.
Clean the filter and dry it out completely before reinstalling it.
REMOTE CONTROL
•
Point the remote control towards the sensor on the
appliance.
•
The remote control must not be operated more than
7 metres from the appliance (without any obstacles
between the remote control and the sensor).
•
The remote control must be operated with care. Do not
let it fall to the ground, do not expose it to sunlight or
heat sources. If the remote control is not working, try
removing and then reinstalling its battery.
The remote control is supplied with a battery already fitted.
To use the remote control, for the first time, gently pull the
transparent plastic film out of the battery compartment.

REPLACING THE BATTERY
To replace the battery, carry out the following instructions,
using the illustration to help you:

1) Insert a safety pin or any other accessory with a fine tip
into the hole on the lid and, at the same time, pull on the
lid to remove it.
2) Replace the worn battery with a CR2025 battery.
3) Then correctly replace the lid onto the remote control.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•
Always unplug the appliance before cleaning it.
•
Clean the surface of the appliance using a soft cloth, do
not use any water.
•
If the appliance is very dirty, clean the surface using a
damp cloth (add a non-corrosive cleaning product if
required.
•
Do not use corrosive detergents, corrosive solvents or
chemical products.
•
Do not use an abrasive sponge, scouring pad or hard
brush to clean the appliance.
•
Do not immerse the main body of the appliance into
water.
•
Ensure that the motor and the other electrical
components do not come into contact with water.
•
If the appliance is not to be used for a long period, pack it
away carefully. Store it in a dry and ventilated area where
it will not be affected by dust.
•
To avoid an excessive build-up of dust on the filter
affecting the way the blower works, clean the filter on a
monthly basis.
•
To ensure that the appliance keeps operating efficiently,
it is necessary to wash the filter every week that it is
used.
•
The filter of the evaporator can be removed as shown in
fig. 28. The condensation filters consist of two parts.
•
Step 1: Remove the filter as shown in Fig. 29.
•
Step 2: Remove the other filter as shown in Fig. 30-31.
