5 Maintenance and cleaning
Maintenance:
The DiTemp DT3 is maintenance-free and cannot be repaired by the user. In case of a de-
fect, the DiTemp DT3 must be sent back the manufacturer for repair.
The lithium batteries has a lifetime up to 10 years under normal operating conditions. Strong
vibrations or certain ambient temperatures may reduce the lifetime.
The battery is designed for the normal lifetime of the DiTemp DT3. Battery replacement is not
possible. ( "Error messages: Lo").
CAUTION! Material damage!
When opening the device, critical parts or components can be damage.
Never open the device and perform any repair yourself.
Cleaning:
Clean the DiTemp DT3 with a dry or slightly damp lint-free cloth. Do not use sharp objects or
aggressive agents for cleaning.
