3.1 Electrical safety

When presenting an authorised user key, all the locks connected to the

EFL 3) simultaneously.

When presenting an authorised user key, only certain locks open / lock, although several locks
are connected to the
MLA 8.
Latch bolt lock operation (= factory setting)
When presenting an authorised user key, the locks (
(
opening period). Within this time span, the furniture can be opened. The locks are automatically
locked after the conclusion of the opening period.
Dead bolt lock operation
When presenting an authorised user key, the locks (

Opening period
The opening period in the
latch bolt lock operation determines the time for which the locks
(
EFL 3) are kept open after presenting an authorised user key. The opening period can be set
in one-second increments from 3-120 seconds.
Delay period
After presenting an authorised user key, the locks (? EFL 3) are only opened after the conclusion
of a defined delay period. The setting can be performed in the ? latch bolt lock operation and in the
operation with a
dead bolt lock function. The time can be set in one-second increments from
1-10 seconds.

> Do not carry the product by the cable.
> Check all delivered product components for damages prior to the installation/operation!
Never install damaged product components, but complain to the manufacturer.
> Also repeatedly check during the operation. Never operate the product if any wires
have been damaged.
> Never modify or replace plug and cable.
> Do not omit any delivered parts. Adhere to the assembly sequence.
> Do not install any parts that are not approved by the manufacturer.
> Never operate the product without the included power supply unit.
Electrical safety
> Do not operate product components and cables near hot surfaces, heat sources,
easily flammable materials or areas with direct sunlight.
> Never expose product components and cables to humidity and never operate these
near water, damp, aggressive or potentially explosive areas. Never handle the plug
and socket with wet hands.
> When pulling the plug out of the socket, do not pull by the cable, but by the plug.
> An earthed shockproof socket installed according to national regulations must be
available for the electrical connection. The connection data of the socket must match
the connection data of the product (see Chapter "Technical Data"). The use of output
extenders or adapters is prohibited!
> Never open the housing of the product components.
> Verify that uninstructed persons (such as children, customers) do not have access to
the electrical system of the product.
> Do not jam, crush, bend or damage the cable (e.g. by drilling, cutting). Do not place cable
over sharp edges or corners. Keep the cable at a sufficient distance from movable or
rotating parts.
