2.4 Definition
The product is part of the electronic locking system DIALOCK. It serves as an electromechanical
locking device for furniture (e.g. cabinets, drawers, shelves, roller shutters).
The product is intended for the following usage areas:
•
Indoor use,
•
Use at room temperatures between 0° C and 65° C,
•
Use as a locking device for furniture pieces that match the specified installation requirements
(see Chapter „3. Installation requirements" of the installation instructions),
•
Power supply by an appropriate power supply unit (PS1 or PS2).
Correct purpose of use also includes adhering to the manufacturer's operating, service and
maintenance conditions.
Any use not mentioned in chapter 2.1 is considered to be improper. The operator is solely
responsible for any resulting damage. It is particularly important to avoid the following:
•
Outdoor use or use in damp environments.
•
Use in potentially explosive or aggressive environments.
•
Use as locking device on gates and doors.
•
Use in the vicinity of electromagnetically sensitive devices.
•
Omitting components during the assembly.
•
Changes to the installation order.
•
Use of defective or damaged components.
•
Use of non-original parts.
•
Conversions or repairs to the product.
•
Use by non-authorised persons.
