Remove the battery by pulling out the rubber strap on the side (Figures 47 and 48).
Remove the protection cap located on top of the battery (Figure 49).
Connect the battery charger's plug (Figure 50);
Connect the battery charger's plug to the 230V 50 Hz mains (Figure 51);
The two LED lights on the upper surface of the battery charger (Figure 52) show its status:
Red-red: charging;
o
Green-red: charging complete, fully charged battery.

When the battery is fully charged, first disconnect the plug from the mains socket and only then remove the plug from the battery.
18.7 MINI BATTERY (5.8 AH)
The MINI battery (36 V and 5.8 Ah) is cylindrical and secured to the connection with a latching system (Figure 74).
On the top of the battery, there are markings along which some LEDs show the current charge level. Pressing the button, the LEDs will show the
approximate charge level, in four levels (20%-50%-80%-100% - Figure 45).
Another button (red) enables to turn the battery on and off: press this button to power the motor and the display (Figure 46).
The key, placed on top of the battery, can be used to fasten it to the device; by inserting it in the relevant seat and rotating it toward the right, it will
trigger the lock. At this point the battery is released and can be removed by pulling it forward and upward (Figures 75 and 76).
To charge the battery:
Turn the device off (by pressing and holding the "

Remove the protection cap located on top of the battery (Figure 49).
Connect the battery charger's plug (Figure 50);
Connect the battery charger's plug to the 230V 50 Hz mains (Figure 51);

18.8 PLUS BATTERY (11 AH)
The PLUS battery (36 V and 11 Ah) is box-shaped and secured to the connection with a latching system (Figure 53).
On the top of the battery, there are markings along which some LEDs show the current charge level. Pressing the button, the LEDs will show the
approximate charge level, in four levels (20%-50%-80%-100%) and will automatically activate the battery, powering the motor and the display (Figure
54). Use the same button to disable the battery (therefore the LEDs turn off).
The key, placed beside the battery, can be used to remove the entire unit from the device; by turning it, the battery is released and it can be removed
by pulling it forward and upward (Figures 55 and 56).
To charge the battery:

Connect the battery charger's plug (Figure 58);

18.9 RACE BATTERY (11 AH)
The RACE battery (48 V and 11 Ah) is box-shaped and secured to the connection with a latching system (Figure 77).
On the side of the battery, there are markings along which some LEDs show the current charge level. Pressing the button, the LEDs will show the
approximate charge level, in four levels (20%-50%-80%-100% - Figure 78).
The key, placed on the right side of the battery, can be used to remove the entire unit from the device; by turning it 180° anticlockwise, the battery
is released and it can be removed by pulling it upward (Figures 79 and 80).
The red power button is located on the left side of the battery next to the protective cap for the charger input; pressing it will activate the battery and
power the motor and the display. With the same button the battery is deactivated.
To charge the battery:
Turn the device off (by pressing and holding the "

Remove the protection cap located on top of the battery (Figure 81).
