The patient can be lifted to the sitting position according instructions below:

CAUTION:

1. If the patient is lifted from a wheelchair, apply the brakes of the wheelchair and
remove the arm supports.
2. When lifting a patient into a chair, try to position the patient as close as possible to
the backrest of the chair:

4. Remove the sling after moving to the chair. Sometimes it can be practical to leave the
sling in the chair. If the sling is left in the chair it is better to use the net polyester
sling.
5. Remove the legrests. Slightly lift the leg of the patient upwards and remove the
legrest from under the leg. Pull the legrest along the side frame of the chair.

6. Gently remove the sling upwards along the back of the chair.
