For your safety

The operating and safety instructions in this manual are limited to the scope
of functions of the Loewe Remote Control Assist Media. This means: Only
how you can call certain functions with the Assist Media is described here,
but not what this function exactly causes to happen in the respective device
and what consequences this could have.
It is imperative to comply with the operating and safety instructions
of the respective appliance.
For your own safety, and to prevent damage, protect the remote control from:
• Dripping or splashing water, moisture and steam
• Cold, heat and wide temperature variations
• Impacts and mechanical stresses
• Direct sun light, open flames and ignition plugs
• Reaching into the inside of the appliances
This remote control has been built exclusively for use in domestic environ-
ments. The terms of the warranty only cover this normal use.
Clean the remote control only with a slightly moist, soft cloth. Do not use
sharp or scouring cleaners under any circumstances.

Environmental Protection

Cardboard box and packaging

In line with national regulations regarding the disposal of packaging materi-
als, we pay a fee to authorised recyclers who collect packaging from dealers.
Nevertheless, we recommend that you keep the original cardboard box and
the rest of the packaging materials so that the unit can, if necessary, be
transported in the safest possible conditions.
The Unit
Other details about re-acceptance (also for non-EU countries) are available
from your local authorities.
Battery of the remote control
Caution: Danger of explosion in case of improper replace-
ment procedure of the battery. Replacement only with the
same or an equivalent type.
Attention: The EU Directive 2002/96 /EC governs the
proper return, handling and recycling of used electronic
appliances. Old electronic appliances must therefore be
disposed of separately. Never dispose of this unit in the
normal domestic waste! You can hand in your old unit free
of charge at identified collection points or to your dealer if
you buy a similar new unit.
According to the regulations concerning used batteries,
batteries may not be disposed of with household rubbish.
You can dispose of used batteries free of charge at the col-
lection points in commercial outlets. Your dealer will also
have a collection point for used batteries. To remove the
battery (Li-Polymer), unscrew the screw (hexagon socket
2 mm) of the cover of the battery compartment.
